English Week 2024: Embracing English Through Sports

English Week 2024 celebrated the fusion of English language learning activities with a sports theme, creating an exciting and successful event. The week featured engaging activities like 'Hungry Hungry Hippo ' and 'Tennis Debate' for senior students, 'Sizzling Brownie Workshop' in the English Cafe, and 'Jeopardy' for junior students. Additional highlights included 'Two-Minute English' and 'Mr. Wofford on the Airwaves' during the morning broadcast time. The grand finale was the immersive 'Big Ballers' sports VR activity. We would like to extend our thanks to the English panel, English Ambassadors, and students for their dedication and participation in making English Week 2024 truly remarkable. English Week 2024 exemplified the integration of English language into our school daily life, fostering a vibrant English culture and nurturing students' language skills. We are very proud of the cultural and language immersion programs and opportunities offered to Pooi Tun students!
