This week, students at Pooi Tun had the opportunity to participate in another exciting culinary workshop. Working together with Jack Tam, a former Pooi Tun student, and current professional chef, students learned how to make the traditional and world famous Japanese desserts Daifuku. In addition to logistical and technical support, several dedicated English Ambassadors were in attendance to support and encourage students to use English throughout the activity. These popular cooking workshops are just one of the many programs the school provides to actively develop a rich English speaking environment for all students of all ability levels.
