The recently concluded Pooin Tun Form 2 English drama competition was spectacular. Students took center stage, performing scenes from the timeless classic, ‘The Wizard of Oz’. What truly set this competition apart was the students’ innovative approach: they rewrote the script and developed their own unique endings for their scenes. The results were fresh, captivating, and wonderfully original. The talent displayed by our Form 2 students was remarkable, and judging the competition was no easy task for our teachers! Over the past year, our Form 2 drama students have achieved remarkable progress in their drama lessons. Their dedication to improving their acting skills and understanding of dramatic techniques has been impressive. The drama program, an integral part of our English Curriculum, has played a critical role in developing an engaging English-speaking environment within Pooi Tun. As we celebrate the success of the drama competition, we look forward to witnessing more creativity, passion, and growth from our talented students as they move into Form 3.
