Recently, Form 2 students took part in the first of two drama competitions that take place each spring based on the classic story. ‘The Wizard of Oz’. For the competition, students are assigned different chapters of the story to perform; however, they have to rewrite the script and create a new ending that differs from the original story. This twist to the competition gives students the chance to use their imagination, and creativity as they develop new storylines and rewrite the original script. The students were guided through the process by English teachers working together with a professional drama tutor who has collaborated with the school for several years. The drama competition has become one of the highlights of the second term for Form 2 students, who look forward to showcasing the skills they have learned during the year. This term’s productions were especially exciting and extraordinary. While we are proud of all the students and their hard work, dedication, and positive attitudes.
