The S2 students at Pooi Tun have recently participated in an exhilarating drama competition that showcased their creativity, English language skills, and acting abilities. The competition provided an excellent platform for students to explore their imagination and perform original dramas based on the famous story, "The Wizard of Oz." This  event not only helped students improve their English proficiency, but also fostered confidence and creativity in a fun and engaging manner.

 

The highlight of the competition was the opportunity for the students to write and produce their own dramas based on the beloved character, the Cowardly Lion from the story, ‘The Wizard of Oz’. This task allowed students to delve into their creative sides as they crafted unique narratives that explored the Lion’s backstory and the events which caused him to become such a coward.
